I have a strange problem. I have a Fantom 500Gb USB Drive (has a Hitachi hard drive inside). I made a 200GB partition for use with the USB loader.
When I format to WBFS using one of the windows apps, the loader claims it's not formatted and asks to format it. If I format it in the loader it then works fine but windows will not find the WBFS partition.
Windows does not assign a drive letter and it shows up as "Free Space" in disk management. PartitionMagic magic sees it as Unallocated space. I'm using Windows XP Pro SP3.
If I format with the loader then it doesn't work with my computer. If I format with the windows app then it won't work with the loader. Any suggestions on how I could fix this?
