Hacking format 2DS without losing b9S

I was finding info about this process and dont find any docu which could guide me

What i have to do to format 2DS without losing B9S?

you format it like you normally would

use tinyformat - will just trigger a format without losing anything on the sdcard.

afaik you will not lose b9s even if you format just remove the sd prior to the format so you keep hbl and other stuff intact

but tinyformat is so old tool , and i dont know if this is adapted for b9S
