blame the government the min you can get is 5c but about 3c and below it gets rounded to 1c and since 1c doesn't exist anymore it turns to 0

It will happen one day. I piece of junk in orbit will hit a populated area and everyone will be saying, "I didn't see that coming."

They were quoting a 1 in 3200 chance of a piece of the UARS satellite hitting someone. Don't get me wrong, that still makes around a 1 in 18 trillion chance of it hitting me personally.

The chances of someone getting killed are reasonably high, high enough to show some concern anyway. The chances of it being you or me are almost negligible.

they could just shoot a missile at it if it starts to get near a populated area. it's not like a roid and should be easy to disintegrate...it wouldn't have to be a nuke though
