Flashing led circuit

well im modding my mega drive and i need help ive done some googling but cant find what im looking for. what i want to do it make a flashing circuit but i dont know how (i dont want to make a circuit that flashes all the leds off then on i want one that flashes through the leds.)

May I suggest trying this out on something other then a Mega Drive first, so you get more experience? I'm guessing a 16 year old Mega Drive is a rather sensitive piece of equipment, easier to damage when taking it apart.

nah ive already modded it to have a Composite video out and phono audio out
