Hacking Flashing a Slodered Wii

My friend has a soldered wii and wants me to hack it (via SD card) and install HBC etc etc. Is it safe to do this, has anyone done it and can they put me right before I do it??

Hack it like any other wii. The chip shouldn't cause any issues.

I know 3 people with chips who had no issues installing homebrew.

I have a wiikey2 and softmod. If I could do it over, I would just do softmod. Makes things alot easier.

Softmodding a wii that has a Modchip isn't going to hurt anything. I would rather overkill than be left with an disadvantage. Reason I chipped mine even though I softmodded it.

Hi, I have tried to hack this wii and whenever i insert an sd card i get a message telling me that my sd card is not compatable, i have tried 2 different cards both of which of used before, any ideas??

Reformat the card as FAT32. Don't use NTFS, it won't work.

If it still doesn't work, try using Panasonic's SD Formatter (http://panasonic.jp/support/global/cs/sd/download/index.html).

If the card is SDHC, try a non-SDHC card.
