*Open Pandora*
PLUS IT HAS TWO ANALOG NUBS INCLUDED WITH THE SYSTEM.
Haha, I've wanted one of those for a long time! But A) I'm talking about 3DS homebrew (I kinda would like to keep my SNES and GBA emulation, along with all others, on one system if possible), and B) the Open Pandora is about $500 USD

My two cents: there isn't a single team skilled enough to hack the 3DS out there.

The _REALLY_ skillful guys all do it for free (look at neimod or TT), not for profit, and EVEN less for piracy.

So, it'll go like this:

1) exploit gets released by good guy
2) evil flashcart company comes along, steals exploit, produces flashcard using it
3) nintendo gets angry and patches everything, while sueing everyone's asses
4) ????
5) no more homebrew :(
A question though... if things play out like you say in this hypothetical situation, wouldn't there be no homebrew at all, regardless? I mean, what alternatives would there be for homebrew (hypothetically)?
I'm sure that Neimod and friends are hard at work on it, and it's a lot likely that homebrew will happen.

There was a time when I thought that the 3DS could possibly not ever be hacked, but looking at neimod's latest development, I'm a lot more positive on the matter.

Hm... I'll have to look that up.
