Hacking Fixed my broken ribbon clip!

Well, I have been tryin to fix my broken clip for a few days now, I finally got a permanent solution!

I held the ribbon down evenly and tighly in the slot it goes in, and put a little hot glue on each side of it. Once I verified it was reading discs i put some reinforcement glue on each side, put the shit together and it works now

so happy! If anyone else has this problem, just make sure you fold the ribbon back when you put the dvd drive back upside down (or rightside up, whichever it is) - this will prevent your ribbon from coming loose again

i know this wont help many people, but i woulda loved to have read this thread af ew days ago when I had my wiikey working but my dvd drive not reading unless i held the ribbon down myself!
