Paper Mario (N64), which was the basis for all Paper Mario battle systems, excluding SPM and including Color Splash, came years before before Mario and Luigi.

And Paper Mario was also inspired by Super Mario RPG, which came out years before both of them.

So yeah, if anything, M&L are the copycats.

Right hand click file one, goto 7zip and extract. If that doesn't work then I would just find an alternate source.

No that should not happen I got past that bit fine on my euro wiiu in fact played about 15 hours of the game with zero issues
