In case you missed it elsewhere the menu will be navigated by use of the reset key which in GC mode as in on an actual GC can be used to perform functions other than reset.

Far I know they can ban you using wii internet (like the xbox-live) or update the wii system.

Is that why my wii will not update? I have a Wiinja V2 installed.

On some Wii Games, it has included the Update in the Disc.
After you enter Game Channel and it has an update on a disc. It will automatic update and restart your console.

If you insert any Japanese game that have update on Wii US. It also update your Wii US.

So If you not use internet to update. Nintendo can update via game disc.

true, i don't really see what this has to do with wiikey/wiinja though, it's not like there's been reported any updates that blocks out people with modchips.
