I've been wanting to do this for a long time, but never had much of a reason to. Shortly after I purchased Blazblue, my MadCatz SF4 Standard Edition Stick started to deteriorate. So I figured this was a pretty good time to replace the parts with some better parts, instead of struggling with the cheap, defective stock parts that the stick comes with. I'm satisfied with the results for my first mod, and the price for the whole thing was pretty decent (Around $60).

Unfortunately, the only camera I have is my DSi camera (Well, there's my cell camera, but trust me, it's horrible), so the quality isn't too great. Well anyway, here's my Casshern stick.

So, what do you think?

Shaweeet bro. You shoulda modded it to begin with.
Makes me want to mod my stick too but I paid too much to risk fucking it up.
I might buy a cheap hori and mod that instead.

What kind of stick are you using now? 4-gate or 8 octogonal gate?

I'm used to square gates, so I stuck with that. I may try an octo gate one day though.

Pretty sure the cheapest Hori stick is the Wii Fighting Stick. Could probably replace the pcb to use on a different system if needed.

Yeah, you can replace the PCB with like a cheap controller such as the Madcats/Gamestop brand 360 controller or something like that and it works. That's what my brother did at least.

Though if you wish to replace parts(stick/buttons), I was watching a youtube video of a guy trying to put "Sanwa?" parts into the Hori stick, but you gotta do A LOT of grinding/sanding.

Modding a hori EX2 requires soldering skills. While modding a madcatz SE only requires unplugging and inserting.

Ya, that's right. Hori sticks have the PCB soldered to the buttons. If you have experience soldering/desoldering, then it's not too hard.
