Hacking First DS... these things normal?

ALL games ALL the time moving or still (only tryed GBA so far DS Cart and Passcard in mail). May even be in the DS "OS" .. have to look. Also i tryed the cart in my micro and there are no lines to be seen so im fairly positve its not the cart.

Do you play the DS in a room with fluorescent light? That can interfere (optically) with the DS backlight and cause you to see scrolling lines.

Also, moving the DS can cause scroling lines on the screen.

And, weirdest of all, when you use the built-in speakers, if you set the sound too loud, the screen vibrates, and lines appear.

Those things can cause scrolling white/dark lines on the screen. So, play in a darkened room, with earphones

(And if the problem persists, return it to the store.)

Heh ill try it in the dark with no sound... but.. I didnt buy a DS to only play while im hidden away in a dark corner of my house! hehe

Return it, then. What I described were the "usual" problems; if they are not the reason, well, it might be a defect with your DS.

Yea .. ill see if i have time tonight. With my luck the new one will have the exact same problem or worse!
