Just updated.

I haven't tried Opera on a main computer, but I know you can customise Firefox so it can still look the way it used to. Having the orange bar at the top left is optional.

Noticed the GUI change today, when it updated. Actually, I liked the GUI in Beta 12 more. Oh well, nice to see it finally getting towards the Final version.

Doesn't seem to be a great deal of difference to me. The height of the tabs looks to be increased a little but I like that.
Or if you mean actually having the tabs on the top, you can swap them and have them underneath still.

Yeah, it's exactly that, I was talking about

Dunno, they were more sleek before.

I tried ?1 and went back to 3.6.13 as it looked pretty much the same as before, though that may have been because of my settings. I decided to try ?12 and now RC1 and I haven't gone back.

A PHP & SQL dev here =P

Well, I´m using Blazingfast, a x64 version of Firefox 4 beta. Also using the x64 version of flash player plugin.

HD seems smoothly now than ever! I have a core 2 duo 1.66 bus 677 INTEL X3100 IGP.

I also kinda like the new look of FF but until they don`t have all my add-ons available on FF4 I`ll stay on FF3 as long as possible... though I still look forward to 4 getting completed finally.

What does that mean? And why is it not on Mozilla's home page?
It means that Firefox 4 RC1 will likely be the final Firefox 4 that is released and posted on the Mozilla homepage when that happens, minus any bugs they find between now and then. "Release candidate" basically means that it's stable. Unlike the beta versions of Firefox 4, RC1 will overwrite any previous Firefox installations one has on his or her computer (ex. 3.6).

When you install "nightly tester tools" you can force the installation of add-ons, and the most I have just work.
