The download worked fine, no problems. I'll definitely keep an eye on this project, it has great potential and might give me another FE game to play (never a bad thing).

I wish there was an easier map editor and character editor. Where you can actually see the map tiles your putting in. Something thats somewhat similar to the pokemon game editor

Meh, easy editors, people like Arch and I do it the way that makes the game really good-- hex editor. xD

Nonetheless looking good so far, that picture of the title screen (just a preview) looks pretty cool.

I'm waiting for your hack with bated breath. Seisen no Keifu is actually my favourite Fire Emblem. How are you going to import the character portraits, though? That baldy used in your Axe Knight video certainly doesn't do Lex justice.

Anyways, you may want to include any information which you have posted in later posts, such as screenshots, etc, by editing your first post. You should include your website too, for easy access.

I really liked the demo (aside from some classes being already promoted and as such getting tiny amounts of exp (and of course the NEW CHARACTERS (and you calling Brigid Bridgette))). No, really, I liked it.
You should put up a forum on your site, or keep people posted here. Everybody loves updates, no matter how vapid and trivial they are (take Mother 3 as an example).

Hello, I'm chilean and I don't speak so much english...
I think that make a hack is very difficult.
well, it's a great hack and I want know how many chapters have you finished?????
Thanks for make a demo.... I try it and i think that it's so great....

Long time no update. There's been so much progress on this I have to share with you guys. I'll start off by telling you that I have a forum for this hack now, Fire Emblem Universe - A Fire Emblem fansite and the home of FE4 Advance (it also features many other hacks for you all to play)

First off I'll answer the above question. I haven't decided yet, there are multiple ideas running through my mind on that right now.

Second off there is the tons of stuff I have to share with you all. I guess I'll start with our animation work.

Watch the Bow Knight animation video and the Axe Knight animation video.

And then there's all the mug work we've done.

And then there's the skill system in progress. Watch Marcus use Adept in the arena.

And then there's the completion of Chapter 2 as well.

I hope you guys enjoy the update and look forward to the next demo release which is rapidly approaching!

Verily awesome

I managed to miss this last time the topic was up, but seeing it now, it looks rather amazing. Progress is slow (though that's expected of a hack, and I'm sure you're working hard), so I'll probably end up giving in and playing the next demo. Anyway, after the disappointment that was the DS game, hopefully this will fill the void.
Oh, and to any Fire Emblem lovers here who didn't know (I just thought I'd throw this in for the hell of it), Fire Emblem 5 (the Japan-only GBA sequel to FE6 - The Blazing Sword) has almost completely been translated into English for quite a while. Thinking about it, I still need to complete that.

All the games save the first as readily playable for hose afraid of moonspeak :/ However, FE2's translation is from the now debunked j2e group, and they released that as more of a proof-of-progress patch, not meant for full play. This means typos, untranslated text, and even bugs are in the patch. Luckily, those bugs can be avoided simply be reloading the game from a fresh save.

Blazing Sword is Fire Emblem 7, Fuuin no Tsurugi is 6.

Fire Emblem 5 is Thracia 776, a spinoff of FE4 - Genealogy of the Holy War

It goes like this

01. Fire Emblem(Remade as Fire Emblem - Shadow Dragon)
02. Fire Emblem Gaiden
03. Fire Emblem - Mystery of the Emblem
04. Fire Emblem - Genealogy of the Holy War
05. Fire Emblem - Tracia 776
06. Fire Emblem - Sword of Seals(translated title)
07. Fire Emblem - The Blazing Sword
08. Fire Emblem - The Sacred Stones
09. Fire Emblem - Path of Radiance
10. Fire Emblem - Radiant Dawn

Good luck! I've been seeing this for a long time, wondering how it's going along. So how far have you gotten?
