It's crazy. I guess with The COVID keeping more people at home, consoles are selling out. That, and inventory must be lower than normal because of the virus as well. No consoles from the big 3 at all at my local Walmarts and Targets when I was out and about today!

I wonder if Sony & MS are going to use this console dearth in their favor to push their next gen consoles for the holiday season? If so, it could make getting a new PS4 in any FW more expensive.

For anyone interested, I ended up getting an RDR2 bundle from Amazon. $460 + tax. It's painful to pay so much with PS5 on the horizon, but I guess I just enjoy hacking for it's own sake.

I paid over $500 for my ps4 before there was even an exploit for the firmware it was on. however, it was the dragon quest metal slim ps4, which go for $800 new. it was used, but in pristine condition. game voucher still intact. theme wasn't, but I found it elsewhere and made an unlock package (very easy). I now have the theme on my ps4, and the system is on 5.05, so it must be worth a bundle now.
