Finally got my new net!

WTF? My internet is 54 Mbps (is that fast??)
but download speed is like 50~75 kb a sec

(maybe that's because i'm downloading from rapidshare, megaupload etcetc??)

If your internet was 54Mbps then you'd have the potential to go 6.75MB per sec... Are you sure it's not just the connection to your wireless router that's going 54mbps?

People get that confused sometimes, and they're like 'My internet is 100Mbps it goes so fast', but really that's just the LAN connection

i own teh internetz with my 25kb/s dl and 10kb/s ul and my 10gb cap : P
can't change the provider because our landlord pays for it O.o
i wish i had my internet from home back ... : D
