Not sure I should ask this on the Wii or Wii U section, but since I'm using a Wii U, I'll post it here.

I have my old HDD still in WBFS and I was considering this guide: https://gbatemp.net/threads/how-to-convert-from-wbfs-to-fat32-or-ntfs.292391/

To convert it to something else so I could use Nintendon't (and eventually Wii U backups when possible).

Two questions:

- these days, should I go still with FAT32 or go with NTFS?

- is this guide still up-to-date?

Thanks in advance.

I would go with FAT32. It really sucks when you have a 1TB hard drive and format it to WBFS. Only to do nothing with it but Wii games.
