LOL shuts off during palytime by button press? What then, if you didn't push any buttons? Try a Touch-Screen based game that didn't using the buttons!! Like: Kirby: Canvas Curse, Pac-Pix, Nervous Brickdown, Chocobo Tales, etc.

And tell me they are shuts down or not!

Not really button press. Some games run better than other. Puzzle games run ok. It seems like faster moving games have a harder time and Crash.

Mine also crashes in pokemon pearl and servial other games.
But it began after i installed the 1.10 loader.

Maybe the loader is just messed up?

I have tried 1.10, 1.9, 1.8 and 1.5

ya, i think its ur DS, lol, instead of buying new SD cards and new R4 cards, you couldve bought another DS with the money u spent on the 2 other SD cards and another R4 xD and wat size is you SD? micro SDs.. -_______-

I got my R4 and SD from Deal Extreme so I am only out about $40 bucks. And if it works on a new DS I am not really out much.

Are you using one of the first gen R4s with the orange/blue card reader? That has a 90% chance of messing up your micro SD card, you will most likely need to buy a new one. Get a new card reader while you are at it.


All in all it sounds like your MSD card is messed up and you should buy a new one. Graba 13$ 1g on newegg.com of you have the silver card reader dont worry about buying a new one that one is cool to use.

Most of those card readers work without problems. To say that 90% of them will "mess up" the microSD card so that you need to buy a new one is ridiculous. They do have a higher rate of not working, or corrupting files or the file table, but it's very rare that they actually damage a memory card.

If you're not having problems, the card reader doesn't need to be replaced. If you are having problems, a new card reader is worth looking into.

Is there a certain point at which it crashes or is entirely random? Your R4 might be broken.Get a new one(or send it in for repairs). Do flashcarts have warranties.

They are super cheapos that in 90+% of cases have messed up peoples cards as to them having to purchase new ones which is why they are using the new silver ones. You can buy a good transflash card reader for 4$ on DX which if you have one of the old ones I highly suggest.

Corrupting files can be over looked but they have been widely known to mess up your card to such an extent even reformatting wont fix.
