Hi, I'm discovering the joys of owning a Wii in the year of 2026. Better late than never. Been playing the NTSC Virtual Console version of Star Fox 64 a bunch, and there's this annoying audio distortion that's hard to ignore throughout the game, like the audio is crackling. It's most noticable in the end credits. This video I found on youtube shows it off as well, so I know the issue isn't just on my end: (45:56 in case the timestamp doesn't work) I was surprised how nobody online seems to have discussed this over the years. Has anyone else noticed this or similar issues on other n64 VC releases? Is the cause known? Out of curiosity, I did try the PAL Lylat Wars release, and the audio was perfectly fine in that one.

Known bugs: - Toggling the sound OFF hangs the emulator. - Saves are not working. Position the cursor in slot 000, 001, 002, 003, or 004, press right to go down one page. You will only notice visually if you have your covers assigned. - When you launch the emulator from USB, games/art on the device will be ignored if a SD card is also inserted with the same Z-GX folder structure. SD will be prioritized. - When you launch the emulator from USB, and there is a SD card inserted without the Z-GX folder structure present, it will DSI crash. - 12 seconds pause before the game starts booting, affects build 20260811B. - Cover files do not load when you start the emulator from a USB device, yet it will load them if a SD card with the files is inserted before emulator launch. (FIXED in build 20260803B) - 240p.txt file is not detected or generated when you launch the emulator from a USB device. Hacking File Redirection in Homebrew Channel?

Like in unix, could all console output be redirected to a file?

I've just finished adding sd card output to the title lister application (original by bushing) and such a feature may render my work being useless

ps: Not that useless actually I've already dumped the list of all the titles in my wii. It was way too hard to see them on console in a crap 21" crt tv.

It seems nobody(yet) have a clue, so here is the modified title lister :

Title list will be dumped to console (that's what already the original does) and file named TITLES.TXT in the root of the sd card. Provided in the rar file are single elf and sources.
