FFIV/II SNES Text editor?

I'm looking for a text editor for Final Fantasy IV/II on the SNES. I need one that doesn't require me to hex edit, as I'm horrible at it The reason is that I want to try my hand at retranslating the original game, since I kinda don't like the J2e translation as he reworked the script in his own image. My goal is to retranslate it with the DS script as a base. I'm fine with using one that works with the US release or the original Japanese release (not EasyType!) Thanks in advance!
