so im trying to get FF7 working on my bros psp. its of CFW 5.00 M33-3. I convert and merge FF7 into one EBOOT but when i load it up it hangs after new game.
i made it using PSXtoPSP 1.4.2.
im not using a popsloader or anything.
if you need more info, just ask.

What do you mean:- I convert and merge FF7 into one EBOOT.

Do you mean that you converted all the disks together or one disk at the time.

maybe you should use a poploader.

I haven't upgraded mine at all and I am using CFW 3.71m33-4 and all the psp and psx games plus gba, snes and gbc works.

okay, thanks for the replys.
but convert and merge i mean that i put the iso's together in the program and then clicked convert to create a single eboot capable of switchinge between the disks.

You cannot do that. Because it won't read the disk 1,2,3,4.
you got to eboot the disk. one disk at a time.

you need to use popsloader and set the game to ver 3.71 if i remember right also which version of the game are you using i.e pal , nstc-u , nstc-j cos nstc-u games work best pal has some probs

@ taken disc swapping and multi-disc eboots were implemented in 3.71 m33-4 if i remember correctly

yeah been reading about it now.though i would not do a multi-disk i would do eboots of disk 1 2 and 3

No that when you save before it ask you for changing disk from disk 1 to disk 2.

you just after change the eboot disk 1 to eboot disk 2.

you know delete eboot 1 off your memory card and put eboot 2 and carry on from the save.

the whole multidisk thing is besides the point. i cant get past the New game-Continue menu. thats what i need help with. its probably the cutscene thats screwing it up.

I know i have had it working both ways on my setup but i mean it could be a number of issues. If it does not work after trying some of the listed setups i would try a new rip or a different pops.
