So imported a Scarlet from someones my castle. i turned them into a real unit and my original Scarlet that had died showed up. So I killed the original and it left the my castle one and the original just disappeared from the entirety of the game.

0.10.0 is released! https://github.com/Soaprman/FEFTwiddler/releases/tag/0.10.0

If any of you are having Scarlet issues, try fiddling with the new options and see if you can set things right. I've fixed a "two truths" problem with the code that should straighten things out over time.

Release notes:

I want to get this out so people can try it and see how it works for them, since I only have so much time to dedicate to testing this stuff myself!

* Add: You can now kill and revive units. In case you decided maybe that one unit was cool to have around after all.
* Note: Killing and reviving is largely untested.
* Add: Class changing is now enabled. In case you really want more than the mess of class seals the game gives you can offer!
* Add: Accessory changing is now enabled. In case you want to outfit everyone in your team uniform!
* Fix: I don't remember. If you had a favorite bug, I guess see if it's still around!
* Known Issue: Global save stuff is a bit broken for some saves. I'll be working on that soon.

hm now with the 10 release we cant edit the custom dlc character anymore

I noticed that, but I forgot to write it as a known issue.

The level fields are coupled with the class field now (due to different logic for "special" classes like Songstress or Dread Fighter), and I just haven't put in the work yet to make the level fields still work in the presence of an invalid class.

Until I officially announce that I support the custom DLC characters, consider them not working the norm.

This should work, I think? It won't show in the GUI, but it'll persist in the data when you save... I think.

If it doesn't, though, I won't be fixing it, because it's not a bug IMO.

I may or may not be giving Camilla a different swimsuit

If you're using a NA version of the game, let me know if you encounter problems with this. I've heard the swimsuits that got removed from the NA version behave oddly or something when you try to equip them. I haven't actually tried it yet!

I heard something about them beign towels. what I heard was someone got towels from other my castle players then installed the patch and got the suits.

Recently I made an idiot move and lost all my installed games/data (EDIT; Wait why did i say this?)

I actually use an NA.cia with a swimsuit patch. got it from that iso site iirc. Makes the only thing missing the face petting, but I can go w/o what Mozume says during it

The item entries were flat out removed, so unless you patch those in you literally can't use them.

Also, for "Unknown classes", I don't know if this is an MU specific thing, but I ported over Owain and his Myrmidom class from Hidden Truths, gave it to my MU, saved, deleted my extdata, and when I loaded up my save, the game made my MU a Hoshidan Noble.

I have a bug. Before this update stuff like Blight Dragon, and Astral dragon showed up on the class display. Now, my cpautred soldiers I turned into those have the class display blank

Before this version, the class field wasn't actually a dropdown, functionally speaking. It was a text box. Now that it's a dropdown, it can only be set to values that are in the list. The list on load is set to exclude NPC-only classes and classes that are locked to the opposite gender. I'll remove these restrictions in the next update, I guess, and people can just... not pick those things if they don't want them.

Yeah I understand. Also, you've done amazing you deserve every bit of this praise and more.

Great work on the custom dlc! Will we see more characters in the future?

you can still edit it using the last line of the hex editor, so if you can find the class IDs you should be able to use them.
