Gaming FE: Fates version question.

Hey people, I'm thinking on dowloading FE: fates, but I've heard that the japanese version has more content. And I'm a crybaby when it comes to lossing content.
How many content do I loose?
It is worth it?
Is there a patch for playing the japanese version in english?

Not much tbh, it's more like a few DLC maps and stuff. The game is still amazing no matter what region you're playing
