hey i just softmodded my old 3ds and i just bought a 64gb sdxc card for other things and how should i go about moving my existing homebrew stuff to the new card

Did you run through this guide? http://3ds.guide ? If so, copy and paste the files from smaller sd card to the bigger one, make sure its formatted to FAT32

Simple as putting both in a PC. Copying and pasting existing content to the new one

Copy all of the contents of your old SD card to your computer, then copy them from your computer to your new SD card.

If you have a 64 GB SD card you'll have to format it as FAT32 with a cluster size of 32K or 64K before copying the files over.
