Hi there! So, I'm trying to record my 3DS using Snickerstream, but recently, I haven't been able to get the IP address. When I used FBI to see it through remote install, I got an error:

Failed to open server socket.
I/O Error: Network interface is not configured (115)

---

Not sure if this is related, the network meter next to the battery icon is crossed out. Also, when I try to update FBI, I get the error:

Failed to check for update.
Result code: 0xD8A0A046
Level: Permanent (27)
Summary: Invalid state (5)
Module: HTTP (40)
Desc: Network unavailable (70)

---

Is there any way to fix this? Thanks in advance!

Go to network settings and check if the 3ds is connected to wifi, it should be a WPA2 type connection, and do a manual ip address instead of automatic. Use 8.8.8.8 for the Dns and you're set.
Unless the wifi board itself is not working for some reason, it shouldn't be much of an issue to set up a network connection. Otherwise, you might need to change it (wifi board).
Also, when I try to update FBI, I get the error:
Well fbi hasn't got an update in a while, so if you're already on the latest then it can't update it..
