Hacking FBA Neo (Core) Retroarch quesion

Hi Guys - I recently updated retroarch on my Vita TV and I noticed that it came with a new core named FBA NEO
and I was wondering if anyone knows which rom set is this compatible with?

Also - is it worth the trouble in comparing it to see if any other games run faster with it - are there exclusive roms that only work with this core?

Retroarch has their own set of dat on the github, you can check them out.

Hey cool but what exactly is a dat? - It appears to be list of working roms - but I was referring to which set or roms are the ones that work for fba neo - I have a few FBA roms already in retro arch that belong to set FinalBurn Alpha v0.2.97.38 - but I need to know which rom set would retroarch work for FBA NEO.

You can use clrmame pro, load the dat file, and check your folder, it will fix your roms to work on the current version of retroarch, or it will tel you which ones cant be fixed.

Normally FBNeo should use 2.97.44, or the "FBNeo Set"
