Going to go ahead and throw my confirmation in (whatever its worth) for http://gbatemp.net/index.php?s=&showto...t&p=2544264.
Even though my DATA Partition was numbered 1 instead of 2, I just continued to follow the directions as if it was 2 and it worked fine. As long as its the DATA partition, you should have no problems regardless of what number it is. Played about 5 minutes, menus and subs were successfully changed to English. Played it via Configurable USB Loader, so I don't see why it wouldn't work for all USB loaders.

Pretty sure that poster says it is bad, meh you can risk it. The guide that was posted worked fine for me. Didn't have builder 1.1 before, which helped.

One question, lol is true that the disc version of FF4 take hours to load? If that so, im glad of playing it in a USB xD

Where did you hear this from, made-up-make-myself-feel better land?
This has to be one of the best things I've heard all week.

lol, in the page where i dowloaded the game...¨That was an exageration the loading times¨ Well his wii sux maybe lol

Hmm... I wonder if anyone tested it alongside WiiRD.

I'm going to check if the ID still works otherwise the codes are disabled.

You are aware that you can take an ISO from a DVD and back it up to your computer, right?

Yes, using an usbHdd and an usbloader right? (but then wouldn't it be in wbts format? Do I have to use another program to convert it to iso?)
I've been trying not to dabble into USBloading until I have confirmation on a few things, namely: the best usbloader(as in more compatibility and stability, etc), and the best partition type (I read that Fat32 is the best because you can use it as if it was a wbfs with the benefits of it still being a fat32 drive, correct me if i'm wrong)

Having had a chance to play it now, I can say that's not the case. Very awesome work Tempus, I've only played the Prologue but I really like it so far. It's very well done, too. I was surprised to see the Home Menu was english.

Tempus and crew really did a superb job on this translation, only if the Big N had people so dedicated, there wouldn't be so much shovel-ware on the wii!

I am having a problem with wiiscrubber. I have tried to use 1.3Final and 1.4 to no avail. When I load up the iso in 1.4 it shows 2 partitions, Update and Data but sais bad next to them. When I use 1.3 I get 3 partitions but everytime I try to extract the data it crashes. 1.2 shows the same as 1.3 but does nothing. Interesting thing is that 1.3 and 1.4 show the disk has having only 140mb on the disc. The game plays fine in GX Loader but I am stuck. Any ideas.

the iso you have is patched and was used with partition builder v1.0 which resulted in the data partition becoming bad. the game will run in usb loaders but you cannot do anything to the iso. the patched needed the latest version of partition builder to applied correctly.

Works for me too!!!

I used the torrent for Fatal Frame 4 + Patch English [MULTI2][WII-Scrubber] with the included patch and WiiScrubber 1.4 with partitionbuilder 1.1.

Tested a burned DVD+R in a softmodded 4.2 Wii and Dolphin Emulator as well as via USB HD using WiiFlow and USB Loader GX.

All working fine so far although I only have about an hour into the game.

Big kudos to the people who worked long and hard hours on the patch. I assume they don't officially support backups to protect themselves from would-be lawsuits but I'm sure they knew many would figure out how to get past that small hurdle...

Does this work modded wiis? D:
I installed the patch but it didn't do anything. -.-

Not too sure where you've installed it, but mine's in the HBC. Select it from the HBC once to install the patch and then click on the same item in the HBC again when you want to run the loader.

Make sure you don't have the DVD in your Wii until the loader asks you to insert the disc otherwise it'll crash.

Ok I got that torrent but it seems you also followed that long ass post of instructions earlier. So I guess I have to follow those instructions too and mess with the ISO before this can run properly?

Wiiscrubber problem solved. The Key.bin files for reason is what was causing the problem. I followed the instructions on page 13 and it worked like a charm. Great job on the translation.

I want to do it myself (specially since I have a japanese Fatal Frame 4 in my usb hdd). So now I need to convert from wbfs to iso using a program, then patch the iso using wiiscrubber and re-convert to wbfs, is that it?

I'm playing the game on a PAL wii (using NeoGamma R7 with patched iso) and there seems to be a strange problem: all translated FMV cutscenes are very slow (around 2 times slower than usual), video gets out of synch with the sound, and then cutscene skips. Intro video (that isn't translated) goes without any problems - at full speed. I tried configuring video options in NeoGamma, tried using different loader and even tried to apply the patch again - but no results.
Is it possible to fix it somehow?
