I am facing a rather odd issue with my Wii U.
When I turn it on using the pad or console power button, lights gets bright, the cd tray does sounds but nothing else happens and I get the "Could not connect to the Wii U. Turn off the Wii u gamepad, then turn it on closer to the console" message on the pad (although I turned it on super close from the console).
From there, if I hold the console power button for 5 seconds (complete shut down), and then turn the system back on, everything works as intended (interestingly, this time, the cd tray sounds are different and this issue is reproducible only after a certain amount of time - like a few hours).
Basically I need to turn on the console twice if I want to use it.
Have you ever heard of anything like this?
