Fable III Announcement Trailer & Concept Art

As you'll be aware by now, Peter Molyneux, Lionhead and Microsoft's iconic Fable leader, announced the coming of Fable 3 this morning at a press conference in Cologne, Germany.

Whilst the press conference was mostly talking about the game's structure and content, Lionhead had prepared a few pieces of concept art and a short teaser trailer. There isn't much to read into them ... they're just pretty.

Oh, and I'd like to apologise for mistaking the King's family in the first piece of concept art for a gaggle of prostitutes in this morning's Live Blog of the press conference. Call it my deteriorating eye sight, lack of morning coffee, groggyness from last night's beer or just the unfortunate effects of age. Nevertheless, enjoy!

Very true. Anyway, I enjoyed both Fable's so far and will be looking forward to this one as well.

Just noticed this on the Xbox live homepage, seems pretty awesome though I haven't watched the trailer yet.

It's not really a Trailer, it's more like a Teaser, because you can't see really anything.
It's actually just the announcement of the game in video-format.

Maybe Molyneux will get it right this time.
I really liked the first Fable, it was an excellent game at its time, but Fable 2 was a dissapointment, (too easy, and a horrible ending no matter what choice you picked). It didn't seem to matter what you did, by the end of the game you were ridiculously overpowered anyway...
I don't see why companies are finding this sandbox games so diffiuclt to develop, maybe if they had a longer development time, they might get a more varied game, or at least give the game a decent plot...
