Hacking EZVi + 105 = two white screens ?

i tested, today, another EZVi

with the following firmwares: 101 -> 105

The result is = two white screen on my DSi 1.2E!

This EZVi is a "white sticker"
and for this test, directly from 101 to 105,
the firmware 105 do two cycles to update!


For my previous test, it was a black sticker with blue PCB

and when i started from 104 to 105
the firmware do, only one cycle to update!

i tried different kind of kernel, but when the two white screens appear, nothing is possible!

We got an alternative for the next v106 firmware then.

my idea, is to propose a 103 who can recognize the CRC of the 105 and downgrade the EZVi
if it is possible to come from the 105 to go to the 103...

And if it is possible, go back after this upgrade in 103, to 104 & 105...

Nah it's too risky. it's better to go ahead with the v106.

And what info you have about the compatibility with DSi in 1.4, 1.4.1, 1.4.2 ?

I have no problem to run my ez5i v105 on my DSi 1.4.2 here.

The problem is located with old dsi firmwares from what i understand. 1.2 and 1.3.

But why some people have EZVi 105 flashed, compatible 1.2 and 1.3E ???

EZflash firmware 105 and DSI 1.3E cannot work, please release 106 firmware asap.
