Hacking Ezflash energy consumption question

Does ezflash 3in1 expansion pack fo ds lite use energy when plugged in if not used, like when I'm playing a game on slot 1 device such as acekard for example ?

It would be in standby mode, power loss is minimal. Unless your have rumble mode active for a slot1 capable game that can use rumble. It is like asking how long does my cellphone battery last if I got vibrate on at max all the time or something, it is dumb because it varies from person to person because of how much use they get out of it.

I have found that anything in slot 2 does drain the battery faster when the DS is in standby (when playing a slot 1 game and the slot 2 is just in there 'cos I haven't swapped back to the blanking plate).

I lack a 3 in 1 but I did do some power tests a few months back, XWolf is correct as it seems that the GBA slot devices lack a low power mode and the couple of milliamps they draw stay there.
