Hacking Ez flash omega - Save issues?

I am trying to play final fantasy tactics advance.

Currently on 1.06 firmware r7.

I can't seem to save properly. I tried to save using the ingame, and when I reboot the save is gone.

If I use rts and load it just hangs...

Using the USA version rom has been md5 check and it is the unpatched version.

What device are you using? The EZ Flash Omega does tend not to save if you use a GBA SP. I am not sure why, how, when it happens. But there has been threads about it not saving if you do use a GBA SP.
Have you tried using a different device? If you aren't using a GBA SP and this is still happening, try updating your EZ Flash Omega to the latest version, and try maybe reformatting your SD card.

Yeah, I am was using the gba sp... It is hit a miss with saves. I have decided to use the ds lite instead for the better screen.
