OK, it's been a while since I did this.

So, I downloaded yoku's island from the store. Booted up into atmosphere, and it's not showing there, only on stock.
went into nxdump tool, and nothing.

how do I get this working ?

OK, I think I got it working again. only it downloads as nsp. I guess things like goldleaf don't do xci?

Yes, GoldLeaf needs NSPs.
I use 4nxci to convert them when needed.
You do need recent console keys for 4nxci.
