Hacking Extracting update WAD from Wii ISO, PLEASE HELP!

Alright, so I've been meaning to check out Waninko's Region Changer, and now that there's a downgrader I want to install the European firmware from a WAD to fix the Semi-Brick, Team Twiizers PAL Semi-Brick Fix Disk is supposed to have 3.2E in it, correct? I can't open the ISO in Trucha Signer, it says there was an error decrypting the ISO.

Anything else I can do? Other programs? Am I doing something wrong?

You need to rip a WAD in order to install it to fix a semi-brick?


You do realize that fixing a semi-brick requires some way of auto launching either the semi-brick fix disc or the homebrew channel, right?

I'm sorry, I read that after using Waninko's Region Changer that installing the firmware for the correct region using his downgrader will let you access the system settings.

Either way, I'd like to install the 3.2E firmware so I can install Crediar's recent Wii hacks.

I can access the System Settings by switching back to the North American Region Code using Waninko's Region Changer. I'm sorry if I worded that wrong, but being unable to get into System Settings is what a Semi-Brick does, correct?

That's not the point, I need help extracting the European 3.2E update WAD.

The downgrader has 3.2E on it...

If you want it from another disc, use WUFE.

... Now I'm confused. I can't access the System Settings when the Region Code is set to European, I've read that installing European firmware from a WAD will let me. How do I go about getting the WAD from the Semi-Brick Fix ISO?

For the last time... you don't need the WAD from the semi-brick disc.....

Use the downgrader and select 3.2E.
