Heya! I'm inexperienced with Nintendo Switch file structures, and I'm trying to extract sound files from the game No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle.
After dumping my copy, I have also dumped my RomFS file to look around and see if I could find them. The file structure is as follows:

Inside the Sound folder, there are a few sound effects, but not quite what I'm looking for. I'm particularly looking for the sound effects played during Jeane's playtime, and I suspect they might be in the data.vfs file. After looking around the internet, I've downloaded a few apps with no luck of opening this particular file. If anyone is experienced enough to help me, or already has these sound effects archived somewhere, thanks in advance!

Hey there! Extracting sound files from game-specific formats can be tricky. Since you’re working with a .vfs file, it’s likely a proprietary format. While we don’t have those specific files archived on Soundeffekte.net, you could try tools like QuickBMS or Ravioli Game Tools to extract the contents. For more sound effects, feel free to explore our collection at Soundeffekte.net. Best of luck, and I hope you find what you're looking for!

To extract audio files from No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle, you can try using tools like QuickBMS (with VFS script), VFS Extractor, or Game Extractor to open the data.vfs file. After extraction, if the audio files are in a special format, you can use vgmstream or Audacity to play and convert them.
