Hacking Extracting graphics

I think it's a simple question.
How can I extract graphics (sprites to be more specific) from a Nintendo DS game?
I'm looking for some enemy sprites from Castlevania Dawn of Sorrow but no one has them.
I've tried Crystaltile2, but I won't get anywhere without a tutorial since I'm not a programmer.

Since you're not a programmer:

1.Play the game through the DeSmume emulator.

2.Pause the game and take a screenshot with the enemy sprite you need.

3.Use MS Paint to zoom in and free-form crop the sprite out of the screenshot.

This method is very crude and nooby, but it works!

Graphics are usually in proprietary formats, but if you're lucky, they'll be LZ77-compressed.
