Hacking Extract shasum for nand.bin.sha

How can I extract only the shasum from an nand.bin.sha file to view the shasum on windows? I tryed open it with an editor but I get just garbage code.

Use any hex-editor. The sha-sum is 256 bit or 32 byte long binary data. Opening this a plain text file leads to, as you said: garbage.
