Homebrew Excite Truck issues

I know I’m showing up here years too late, but just in case a fellow traveller happens upon this thread with the same question, I thought I’d point out that Excite Truck was one of the very few (and first) Wii games to use the SD card slot to check for MP3s to play in the background. Might be related to why it fails to load from an SD card. The SD card scan for music that it does is what I’d investigate patching out if I was going to try and get it to load from an SD.

As detailed in the message/thread you quote, the reason it does not work is that SD access is (currently) disabled by d2x ciOS when games are running from SD card.
