that emulator is gonna be slow on the DSi XL, since theres no gba chip in it iirc

There is no GBA chip in the DSi either... The XL is the exact same hardware, just bigger screens. The emulator is emulating the GBA chip by using an onboard CPU in the flashcard, like the iPlayer and SCDS2.

Also I didn't know about the iplayer having it's own cpu to emulate the gba games (as i've never had one and the iplayer didn't look appealing to me)

I knew it was real. The sketchy site seemed like it was a slam at the big N. Since it is the R4 team they are just laughing at Nintendo.
