is there anyone who is working on more support for gamecube controllers on wii u? like using it on vwii emulators or games like project m, or even virtual console titles that would normally support gamecube controllers on the regular wii. if someone knows a way to do this or is working on it then please tell me :) it would be much appreciated .

I think we forgot to mention that Devolution now supports it. Not sure how many people still use that though.
i just want someone to come out and say "hey, were working on making a nintendo 64 emulator work for the wii u gamecube adapter!" or even a gameboy emulator that supports it. and ive been searching for just a tiny tiny bit of confirmation that that's happening

If you know how to code then you can port the HID code from Nintendont to whatever you want.

i really wish i did, because i certainly would. i wish i could directly contact the makers of the popular wii/vwii emulators, cause then i would see what they're planning, or if they're even planning..

are you using haxchi, tiramisu or aroma?
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    yeah
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
no, I'm asking which one of them you are using
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    aroma
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
in that case, there is no such thing as homebrew launcher for aroma
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
you have to launch your homebrews directly from the wii u menu
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
there is a plugin that display them on the wii u menu, pretty sure it is enabled by default
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    so like it doesnt exist
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    yeah
    ?
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
it doesn't exist, at least not for aroma
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    ohhhhh
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
on tiramisu you can access it by opening mii maker
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    okay
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
I don't have a wii u anymore to test it myself, but if homebrews are not visible on the wii u menu I think you can press L + R + minus to open the plugin menu, there should be an option called "homebrews on wii u menu" or something similar
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    nope
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    it is L+dpad down+ select
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
but homebrew is appearing in the home menu btw
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
    yes, now I remember it
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
then it is working, I also don't like that they did this but it is the only option you have if you are using aroma
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
i just didint know the homebrew launcher didint exist in aroma
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
