Gaming Etrian Odyssey III About Sub-Classes

Hey fellow EOIII players, i've unlocked sub-classes a while now and i've been trying to figure out how my characters stat growth have changed but for the past 2-3 level that i have gain with my sub-class i don't see any change in my stat growth. Can someone tell me how exactly does sub-class affect the stat growth and also what is the level cap in this game. thanks

Only your main class effects stat growth...... I'm not sure you might be able to cheat for a higher level but the highest I've gotten without cheating is 70 but you can get higher then that.
