Assassin's Creed is definitely NOT an essential. It's a renter at best. After the first quest it's just crap. Go find viewpoints. Sit on a bench and listen in. Follow someone into a dark alley. Rescue citizens by killing 3 guards and not having to worry about stealth. Poor AI, mediocre everything else.

I just got Rock Band this morning, and it kicks the total CRAP outta Guitar Hero!

Perfect Dark Zero- Old but still fun

Saint's Row- I initially refused to play this GTA-clone. But after the delay of GTA4, I went out and got it for cheap. Glad I did, its a blast
