Hacking error installing nsp file with tinfoil

Hello i have just installed atmosphere 8 on my switch version 6.2 im trying to install smash bros by nsp file on tinfoil
but i got this error everytime

Preparing install....
Failed to open NSP!
OpenfilesystemWithId.101 : failed to open file system with id :@sdcard://tinfoil/nsp/2dbc8d9a61ab6b08168ac23b9c626aad.cnmt.nca.
Errore code : 0x00234c02

Is your sd card Fat32 or exFat?

Crap op said 6.2 as well ok.

From googling that error code, there's not a whole lot of answers. I'm reading someone said too had too many nsps on the card and they removed them and retried and it worked, and someone had a fake sd card. Also make sure you're using the latest tinfoil (0.2.0).

Remember you need double the space to install an nsp. So before you put an nsp on the card if it's a 13.6 gb game like Smash you need 27.2 gb free to install it because you have to put the nsp on the card then install it, if you're installing to sd card.

I had to change the format of my Fat32 card to ExFat, because it does not let me put files larger than 4g in my memory

There's also usb install if all else fails (although it can be problematic at times too)

Yeah, but i dont want to install smash i want to install a another nsp (4mb) it doesnt works

The game doesn't matter it's just an example. The point is you need double the space on your sd card to put an nsp on it then install it. If that's not your issue you might try usb install if you have a type c cable. Then you don't have to put nsps on your sd card at all or remove it, and you could if you wanted to go back to fat32 because with usb install it bypasses the 4 gb limit.

Original SanDiskUltra 128GB XC Card
Using Smash .nsp

I formated my sd Card and only put necassary files into it. I have about 90GB of Free Space

I also tried USB Install. I get the same failure

first time poster, long time lurker.. I'm getting the "failed to install NSP" with error code 0x00234c02 on my Lets Go Eevee NSP. I've downloaded numerous versions/renamed them to shorter names/etc. This is the one and only NSP I've had trouble with, every other NSP has installed very easily.

It dont works with Usb,
"An error ocurred:
Read CNMT :24: Failed to find cnmt file entry!"

Im having this exact same problem. Got smash loaded no problem, but every other nsp is kicking up the Error code : 0x00234c02

Did the make a folder on the desktop and name it nsp and put the nsp inside the folder and move usb_install_pc.py to desktop then open command prompt and type cd desktop then usb_install_pc.py nsp while in usb install on tinfoil?

I placed the nsp in the nsp folder. root>tinfoil>nsp. That worked flawlessly to install Smash, but no luck on anything else.
