You should use both patches, the ones linked from the kosmos git and the ones linked here for a complete set of patches that covers all scenarios. (nsp installing, sig checks, etc...), the kosmos patches for hekate also include ACID and nocmac patches.

I use GoldLeaf perfectly well and have never had to dump my keys.
Hi
Because everything will depend on how was done your's backup NSP.
For some NSP you will need your key for install it
Here is a piece of the goldleaf json

{
"general": {
"customLanguage": "es",
"keysPath": "/switch/prod.keys",
"externalRomFs": "/switch/Goldleaf/theme/rom"
source :Goldleaf

How to you install quark to use with Goldleaf that's already installed?

I'd like to transfer data via usb on osx.

you need Java on Mac it will read the Quark.jar as and exuatable file and open up as a program where you set the file direction

For anybody having the same problem,

Power off the device

Inject payload and enter Hekate

Select payload option and choose fusee-primary

After that you will boot to cfw and you can install the nsp, and it should work (assuming you have installed all sigpatches mentioned elsewhere in this thread)

tested with latest versions of goldleaf and tinfoil, FW 9.0.0

Every time i try to install my nsp either through sd card or usb using goldtree.py I get the following error when trying to install the .nsp file. Could anyone please shed some light. I have FW 9.0 on my switch and have installed the sigpatches for kosmos twice now just to make sure. So i'm not sure what else this error could be referring to. Please and thanks a bunch for any and all advice!

Goldleaf .0.7.1 had a bug resulting in failed installs. Update it.

I had the same problem that fixed itself when I downloaded the kosmos SD.zip and selected to include the sigpatches in the download. Then I wiped everything from my sd card except the nintendo and emummc folders and I haven't had that problem since.

Yes finally, i reformatted my sd card and started from scratch, then i installed the latest kosmos, and then i installed the signature patches found here: https://gbatemp.net/threads/i-heard-that-you-guys-need-some-sweet-patches-for-atmosphere.521164/

(i tried initially to use the kosmos signature patches linked in their repository but they did not work and i got the above error)

Then once I had it installed I booted up Hekate 5.0.2 (latest) and went to payloads and ran fusee-primary payload. This is important because the signature patches i installed work with fuse-primary but not hekate.

After this, i was able to load up goldleaf and install my .nsp file.

I hope this helps!

Thanks!!!
