Misc Error 60000 does Wii region matter for cheat codes

Hopefully this is the right section to ask since it’s about wifi. Just wondering if anyone posted cheat codes for error 6000. I’m only asking because I can’t find anything at the moment but but a few cheat codfor smash bros. My copy I got as a disc and wbfs is ntsc while the cheat I seen is pal. Apparently there was a work around to this error some time last year. The only game I play rarely online at the moment is mario kart especially because I see more users on that. Just wondering still if a games region actually matters and if anyone posted codes online somewhere.

Just in case anyone is interested I went through the steps on the homebrew website to get a ntsc code since the pal code didn’t work for me. I also posted the code on the homebrew site.

Remember backup your save first just in case something goes wrong.

Didn’t realize this would happen but if you exit online than go back online while the cheat is still active, the game will just give you another friend code. So after you do this fix I guess exit the game and really go back to it without the cheat enabled.
