A few years ago, I decided to mod the vWii on my Wii U. I haven't really used it since then and when I came back to update the system, it downloaded it without any problems but then it actually installed the update, it would quickly go to 100% and give me an Error code: 162-3006. After looking around and trying to update with a different internet connection, I came to the conclusion that there must be something wrong with my IOS's and I must have patched something I shouldn't have, which is preventing my system to update. I used SysCheck to see what was wrong:
From the looks of it, IOS53 is for a normal Wii and not a vWii, but I don't know if anything else is wrong. I would use a backup, but I don't even know if I have one to begin with. One of the threads I read said to ask someone to PM me a copy of the vWii version of the IOS, but I'm not sure if thats actually allowed within the rules. In any case, I would like to know if there's anything I missed and what should I do to fix it. Thank you.
