QUOTE said:I burned it at 4x times speed and SSE goes slow as hell, but normal brawl runs fine. Also the screen is too large... (my DL discs don't support 2.4... I found out while I wanted to burn) So my only option seems to be to buy some verbatim.. another three days of waiting....
Hi, I've been gone for a while but now im back. Please try to be more specific with slow...do you mean it seems like its playing at less that the speed in brawl (like slowmotion)? If so, please continue to play the SSE mode for 30-40 minutes. See if your wii FREEZES.
If it does, that probably means that your wii is set to 50hz mode. This would not be caused by your Media. If it boots, it boots and thats over and done with. Please set your wii to 60hz mode, and try on a different TV if at all possible. I had very similar issues and found that setting my wii to 60hz mode fixed all issues. Please report your findings.
QUOTESorry to bump this but I finally got a DL burn of the game. I got this error the first time I tried playing it, powered down and tried again. It worked. Now that I have it at home, (I had my wii at a friends house so he can burn the game on his comp) it doesnt want to work anymore. I have a Wiikey. All my backups and SMG work fine. I find it odd that it worked for hours and now it gives me the error again.
This i am almost certain is your laser playing up on the verge of read and not read. Purchase higher quality media, try to clean your laser, lay your wii on its side or set it upright again. As you may have heard, the wii struggles to read DL media (if you look back in this thread its discussed in detail). Please try to burn at 2.4 or 4X on higher quality media (Verbatim + is the way to go).
I have posted guidelines on how to get it working. Please read back for some more ideas, but i would recommend newer desktop burner and quality media.
Please report your findings.
Harry.
