ePSXe : Plugin for every game?

So, as the title says, is there a video and an audio plugin that would work with every game?
Because right now, I'm trying to play Tomb Raider Last Revelation, and it looks like there's no video plugin that work with this game. No matter the plugin, I get a huge lag right from the beginning and during the loading screen, I get a lot of "Static screen".
If anyone know what to do, please tell me

I doubt there's something that works for every game. I might be talking out of my *ss here, but each plugin works in a different way from one another and the methods used are what give birth to compatibility issues, afaik. I did a quick google search, and these pages seem relevant:

it's okay, I just found the problem, I tried a lot of plugin, and each time I had to close epsxe and to reopen it
But I just noticed that I had 30 epsxe still open in the background
My CPU was overloaded ^^
I closed them and it work just fine now

I have the ePSXe doesn't close properly and loads of them are open in my task manager. I found it better to press ESC whilst in full screen, it seems like it works.
