Hacking Emunand Update Question

I know there are threads for this topic, but I'm sure this has made some others uneasy as well.

When I enter my internet settings in Emunand to get ready for the update, clicking close software on the settings menu before attempting the update puts me back to my real nand, which now also has internet settings enabled on it. Knowing this, does this mean that I'm doing something wrong or that the update will also apply through both?

When I added my internet settings they were added to BOTH NANDS. After I updated the emuNAND and saw that my real NAND had internet settings, I just deleted the settings from the real NAND. They remained on the emuNAND but were deleted from the real NAND with no harm done.

Perfect, thanks! Although I just attempted the update on emunand and I get an error.
