I have a 100%-legit Gateway and my XL is running Gateway's 2.0b2 (I know I'm living dangerously...) Launcher.dat that I md5-checked at least 3 times before running. My emuNAND was created using 2.0b1.

EDIT: Also my SDHC has the GATEWAYNAND header.

Has anyone figured out a way to get this to run on Win 7 64-bit? I've tried every compatibility setting within Win 7 and keep getting the "Read failed error =87(The parameter is incorrect)" error message every time I click either button.

The only other idea I can think of is to run it in a virtual machine, but that's a little bit of overkill in terms of setup just to run one program.

This was the same problem I had as well. Using the original 4GB SD card that came with my XL and it was on Gateway 2.0b2. I'm using the tool on Windows 7 64-Bit

hmm strange, i just double checked using the lexar 4gb sdhc card i got with the XL and it works perfectly on win 7 64bit home premium

Just released the new version 1.0.1.
Only some small fixes as announced:

1.0.1:
- Added support for newer clone firmware emuNANDs
- Better errorhandling, should fix the detection problems which some users had

If someone still has problems with the tool, please report that here.

I have some free time and I am currently working on additional features.
If you report errors now, I may be able to fix them before going on vacation :P

I think one handy feature might be ripping the nand from a disk image :), wouldn't surprise me if that's what you where already working on :)

Also I'm Not sure if this is possible but it would be cool if it could detect what FW the file is :p

Ps have a nice vacation :D

Extracting the NAND from an SD image is already finished :P
Detecting the FW version would be a nice feature, but I don't think it's possible.
The NAND is encrypted and the header does not contain any version infos as far as I know.

Alright so I extracted my Emunand that I made with my old 3DSLink that was on 7.1. What do now so I can use Gateway 2.0 to make it compatible with my Emunand that I made with my 3DSlink?

HELLO
I read on our forum, that there is a solution for 3ds debricker without copy nand
is that true?

There is, and if you moved your eyes millimeters down the forum page before clicking into this thread, you would have found exactly what you're looking for. Go on, try it. It's easy to find; trust me. :)

After months of trying, I was finally able to update my emunand without any issue. But thing is I was using the MT-card launcher. Is there a way to extract the Emunand the MT-launcher made?

Why do you want to extract them? GW, MT and probably R4i Gold deluxe are compatible to each other.

Is it really compatible with each other? Because I tried to load a game using the gateway card, but it won't recognize it. I have formatted the Micro SD card, tried multiple games, nothing loads up.

Do you have the Gateway Launcher at the microSD card?
You have to wait a bit longer the first time after making the NAND backup because GW has to apply their patches.

I'm using the MT-card launcher since that is the one I use to update my Emunand to 7.1 since the GW Launcher did not let me do it.
