Hacking emunand booting help..

So I just tried to boot up my gateway emunand but I got this message: an error has occured forcing system to restart.

the sysnand is not updated..would anyone know the cause of this?

Of course, . Always make a backup weekly ;) should I invest in another sd card? I currently have a SanDisk 16gb class 4. Would I slim the chances of it happening by getting a better card?

It might help. This happened to me a while ago, I tried updating about four times over a period of two days getting the same message as you and it eventually worked. I was updating the real system. I don't think I did anything differently the time that it worked - it might have been a dodgy Internet connection or maybe Nintendo's servers were overloaded or something?
